Feeding Raw

The Philosophy

Just like us, dogs thrive on whole, unprocessed food. But unlike us, dogs’ stomachs are much more acidic, which makes raw meat, poultry, and seafood that is properly processed and stored not only safe but also preferable for dogs because of the higher nutritional content. Their bodies are built to digest animal meat, bones, and organs in their most natural form. When we feed them raw, we support the way their digestive system is designed to function.

Raw food is not a trend – it is simply going back to the way dogs were meant to eat.

We took everything that makes raw feeding great and made it simple:

· The right ratio of muscle, bones, and organs;

· Varied meats from local Alberta sources;

· Fresh, portion-friendly servings;

· No mess and no waste.

A commonsense approach to food, for your dog’s best life.

If you’re feeding our Variety Box:

  • Rotate the different meats throughout the week.
  • Add small portions of cooked vegetables as desired.

If you’re feeding our Complete Meal:

  • No need to add vegetables unless you want to.
  • Some fish for omega-3

Both options are easy to portion, clean, and always fresh.

How to Include Vegetables

Once your dog is comfortable on raw meat, you can add small amounts of cooked, soft vegetables, such as:

  • Sweet potatoes
  • Pumpkin
  • Carrots
  • Squash

Start slowly and observe digestion.

Or choose our Complete Meal, which already includes cooked vegetables in the correct ratio.

You’re Doing Something Good

Transitioning your dog to raw is a gift that lasts a lifetime:
better digestion, a healthier coat, stronger muscles, and more natural energy.

Take your time, follow your dog’s pace, and enjoy the difference you’ll see.

They’ll thank you every day.

The Benefits of Feeding Raw

1. Healthier Skin and Shinier Coat

Raw fats and natural nutrients support skin health from the inside out. Dogs often develop softer coats, reduced itching, and fewer skin irritations.

2. Better Digestion

Raw meat and natural ingredients break down cleanly and easily in a dog’s digestive system.
Less bloating, less gas, and stools that are smaller and firmer.

3. Stronger Muscles and Steady Energy

Protein is the foundation of a dog’s body. Real meat provides the amino acids they need to build muscle and maintain healthy energy levels without the sugar spikes processed foods cause.

4. Cleaner Teeth & Fresher Breath

Bones and natural chewing work with your dog’s teeth, not against them. This helps reduce plaque buildup and supports better oral health over time.

5. Real Nutrition You Can See

With raw, you know exactly what’s in your dog’s bowl. No fillers, no artificial flavors, no by-products.
